Welcome to the underground (Wise Serpent behind-the-scenes & journalistic exploration) where we will continue to explore the #artofrebirth through Music, Art, and Wisdom.
Wise Serpent Underground [₩≌⋔] is a ‘Music, Art, Wisdom’, Media Stream & Behind-the-Scenes Art-House created & hosted by Australian Spiritual Artist & Wise Serpent Founder, Grace Lion-Hunter (that's me). I won't be the only one writing for the underground in future.
This expression is intended for other spiritualists, underground artists, athletes, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs who are interested in self-transformation + the creative process in general. Our grassroots mission at WS is to create a positive shift in Australian Youth Culture through Music, Art, and Wisdom. ₩≌⋔ is where I share all my behind-the-scenes processes, thoughts, intentions and reflections with all that I do with Wise Serpent as a Spiritual Artist, Underground Musician and Creative Entrepreneur.
For example, if you think of my Art of Rebirth show or any of my experimental content out there on social as a kind of ‘Burning Bush’, ‘Yellow Brick Road’ or ‘Wizard of Oz’ experience for the eyes, ears and feels… Wise Serpent Underground is the revealing of what (and who) is behind that curtain of creation.
So I guess not too dissimilar to the idea of the Phantom of the Opera / Wizard of Oz in that regard (as in...we hover 'behind-the-scenes'... also somewhat because I’m a creative junkie with one of my life's creative goals being to write a musical production. All my media features music, art, wisdom. In a way, this makes for an informal musical production in & of itself).
Intended to document the process, spark creative inspiration for members and show the ‘how, why & who’ BEHIND the art… Wise Serpent Underground is a uniquely valuable resource for the underground artist, musician or creative entrepreneur.
And in true Wise Serpent fashion, I’ll be posting excerpts as well as entirely unedited entries taken directly from my own private audio diary (these audio entries were not intended for public consumption, but that’s why it can make the most interesting content).
Expect raw, underground content… Music. Art. Wisdom: Some of the best underground content this side of the web...is my intention here with this magazine.
And it’s not all about the Lion-Hunter.
It’s also the place where I can feature other spiritual artists, personalities, underground musicians & creative entrepreneurs… Wise Serpent Underground being the pre-cursor to the printed cult magazine of –most likely- the same name (limited & collectible print) which will definitely lean more towards a collaborative effort, rather than just in a mere personal blog format.
The plan is to roll out the print version alongside a Wise Serpent Records Mix-Tape featuring collections my favourite underground bands & artists in Australia/overseas (inc. demos, songs & interview excerpts...exclusive sounds from underground artists), the physical version of the mag being made available once enough VIP paying members are signed up to make the first run viable (first 1000 members are 100% free).
Releasing this kind of underground content consistently to the public is a relatively new thing for me, and it has taken me quite a while to figure out the best way to house it. In the future it will cost a paid subscription to access this site, but you get access to everything for free now… on a first in, first served basis.
